Powis House is our family home. We think it's a magical place. Our hope is to share some of that magic with our guests whilst building a sustainable and environmentally conscious business, perfect for travellers seeking style, charm with an eye the future. Our goal is to be 100% energy sustainable and use only biodegradable products by 2025.
History
Powis House, located near Stirling, Scotland, was built in 1746 and has a rich history tied to the region’s heritage. Originally constructed as a private estate, it has witnessed significant periods of Scottish history, including the Jacobite uprisings. The house has retained its Georgian architectural charm and has been home to various families over the centuries. Its proximity to landmarks like Stirling Castle and the Battle of Bannockburn site ties it closely to Scotland’s historic past, making it a noteworthy property in the region’s cultural landscape.
